Google representatives told the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology on Tuesday that some recordings of conversations between users and Google Assistant are listened to by Google employees. <br />According to sources, in response to a specific question from BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, the Google team admitted that the Google Assistant on a smartphone or smart speaker sometimes recorded audio even when the user had not triggered the AI by saying Ok Google.
