Island Garden City of Samal Mayor Al David Uy confirmed that the Davao-Samal Bridge project will continue despite the coronavirus pandemic, adding that in fact its grounbreaking is rescheduled "in the last quarter of this year" per new information given by DPWH-XI Regional Director Allan Borromeo.<br /><br />Earlier, the groundbreaking activity for the project was scheduled on July 1 in time of the founding anniversary of Davao del Norte.<br /><br />Ang pangunahing span nito ay sumusukat ng 250 metro at may isang vertical navigation clearance na hanggang 47 metro over Pakiputan Strait. Susuportahan din ito ng 2 pylons ang taas na 73 metro.
