Kerala reports over 14,000 cases, govt says Covid situation under control

Even as the second Covid wave abates in most parts of the country, the number of infections in Kerala has remained constant. The state reported 14,087 fresh Covid-19 cases and 109 fatalities on Saturday. With the latest addition, Kerala’s Covid caseload rose to 30,53,116 with the death toll surging to 14,489. <br />Amid these developments, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday said that lack of a dip in Covid-19 cases in the state, when compared to other states, was not a cause for concern or fear as things are under control.
