On the occasion of World's Population Day, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the new population control policy 2021-2030 on Sunday. <br />The new population policy aims to reduce the birth rate to 2.1 per thousand population by 2026 and to 1.9 by 2030. <br />During the inauguration event, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that there should be a gap between two children in order to control the state's population.
