Novak Djokovic moved level with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on 20 Grand Slam titles after beating Matteo Berrettini in the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday.

Seventh seed Berrettini, appearing in his maiden Grand Slam final, claimed the opening set in a tiebreaker, but world number one Djokovic was in command the rest of the way and completed a 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 victory.

It was another four-set win for Djokovic over Italy's Berrettini, just as had been the case when they met in the quarter-finals of this year's French Open.

It was a third consecutive Wimbledon title and a sixth in total for Djokovic, who was making his 30th appearance in a Grand Slam singles final.

The Serbian will now look to complete a 'golden slam' by winning all four Grand Slam titles in a single year at the US Open in September.
