It is being used as a stand-alone vaccine to refresh the body defence 6 months after the first vaccination. <br /><br />Doctors have advised people with severe allergies, liver & kidney diseases & malignant tumors to use the vaccine with caution. In other cases, according to experts, the vaccines are safe & effective. Alexey Ivanov got vaccinated six months ago. <br /><br />He recalls that back then the procedure went without complications. And the immune system response was not long in coming. According to the clinical research results the effectiveness of the "Sputnik-V" vaccine was above 90 percent. <br /><br />Therefore, a person can re-vaccinate after a year. However, until the population develops collective immunity at least up to 60% medics recommend to re-protect after 6 months.
