In recent weeks, the Taliban have seized several districts in Afghanistan and are now thought to control about a third of the country. The Afghan government has repeatedly accused Pakistan of supporting Taliban. Amid tensions, Eid Namaz was also suspended in Eidgah and Mosques in Kandahar.
