Damansara MP Tony Pua said one of the reasons for the rise in cases of Covid-19 was a delay in the implementation of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme which was due to a lack of vaccines.<br /><br />He said the government should have planned ahead and ordered vaccines earlier, like several other countries which already placed orders even before they had been approved.<br /><br />According to Pua the government could have ordered the vaccines earlier and set conditions while they waited for the vaccines to get approved.
