Jonah And The The Big Fish (Whale) <br />Jonah 1-3 <br /><br />Jonah is a Prophet who was called by God to go to Nineveh to preach against the city's wickedness, but he refused to go, and decides to run away, boarding a ship headed to Tarshish. In anger God sends a terrible storm. When the sailors realize what has happened, they toss Jonah overboard. <br /><br />To keep from drowning, Jonah was swallowed by a giant fish. He lives inside the belly of the fish, praying for three days. Afterward, God causes him to be vomited up on dry land.
