Opposition MPs have submitted a motion to refer Takiyuddin Hassan to the Parliament's rights and privileges committee for allegedly misleading the Dewan Rakyat with his announcement that the emergency ordinances had been revoked.<br /><br />The motions were filed by Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo and Sepang MP Mohamed Hanipa Maidin.<br /><br />Gobind called on the Speaker to make a ruling regarding this and whether they will be allowed to debate the motion.
