De facto law minister Takiyuddin Hassan is currently hospitalised after undergoing a heart procedure last Friday, according to a PAS official.<br /><br />When contacted, PAS information officer Mohd Shahir Abu Hassan confirmed an Utusan Malaysia report which quoted sources who revealed the PAS secretary-general’s hospitalisation.<br /><br />“Yes, he had to undergo heart surgery,” he told Malaysiakini today.<br /><br />Shahir also said the party was informed of the matter earlier today by an aide to Takiyuddin.<br /><br />Earlier, Utusan Malaysia reported that Takiyuddin was admitted to a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur and underwent a three-hour heart procedure last Friday.
