Unknown to many, the Filipino Boxer Carlo Paalam who is now one win away from Gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Game had a difficult childhood. The boxer and his siblings grew up with their father in Cagayan de Oro, where he discover boxing while picking up trash. Growing up without the presence of a mother, this doesn’t stop Carlo in showing his potential to the world. <br /><br />Before his flight to Tokyo, Paalam rekindled his relationship with his mother via phone call. <br /><br />The mother of the Filipino boxer Carlo Paalam gives a message of goodluck to his son’s fight tomorrow (August 7, 2021) in Tokyo Olympics.
