MCA president Wee Ka Siong said his party was committed to BN and the coalition's collective decision which was made through a consensus.<br /><br />This came following suggestions from former Umno president Najib Abdul Razak warning MCA not to forget their friends.<br /><br />Wee said in March last year, the BN supreme council had decided to support the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government en-bloc and adopted a "no PKR and no DAP" position.<br /><br />Yesterday, Najib had alluded that MCA was "forgetting its friends", citing how Umno had always helped MCA, including in the Tanjung Piai by-election campaign in November 2019.
