The Selangor state government will thoroughly discuss the possibility of reopening schools in the state in September as they do not want it to be a “premature decision”, said Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari.<br /><br />“For the state government of Selangor, we will discuss thoroughly by next week the possibility or the idea to open the schools in September.<br /><br />“We will advise the National Security Council (NSC) to make sure the decision is not premature,” he said in an online press conference today.<br /><br />The Health Ministry reported 21,668 new cases of Covid-19 as of noon today, a new record high.
