This is the dramatic moment fans stormed the pitch at a Nice vs Marseille football game after a bottle launched at one of the players was thrown back into the stands.<br /><br />Marseille's Dimitri Payet was hit in the back by a bottle thrown from the home supporters during a corner kick.<br /><br />Payet launched it back, prompting fans to storm the pitch as security and players struggled to contain the escalating issue.<br /><br />After a long delay, Nice players came out to finish the game but Marseille players refused to.<br /><br />The game was abandoned as a result with Nice leading 1-0.<br /><br />Footage was posted on Twitter by Florian Maupin who was in attendance at the match at Allianz Riviera Stadium, Nice on August 22nd.
