A rise in Covid-19 cases was witnessed on August 26. <br /><br />India reported 46,164 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. 607 deaths were also reported in the same duration taking overall toll to 4,36,365. <br /><br />About 34,159 people recovered from the virus in the same time. The active caseload in the country stands at 3,33,725. <br /><br />Nearly 60,38,46,475 vaccine doses have been administered so far. <br />
