The Health Ministry reported 24,599 new Covid-19 cases, a record high partly contributed by the worsening situation beyond the Klang Valley.<br /><br />Three states hit record highs today, all outside the Klang Valley. They are Sabah, Penang and Johor.<br /><br />Sabah reported 3,487 infections, the third day in a row where cases in the state were above 3,000.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Johor broke 2,000 cases for the first time, hitting a record 2,785.
