<br /><br />Horrific, cataclysmic storm winds have been captured from Hurricane Ida, which has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm - but not before knocking out the power for the ENTIRE city of New Orleans and claiming one life.<br /><br />Hurricane Ida made landfall as a Category 4 Hurricane near Port Fourchon, Louisiana, Sunday on the same date 16 years ago as Hurricane Katrina. It is one of most powerful hurricanes to ever reach the US. A total of 4,900 Louisiana National Guard, 195 high-water vehicles, 73 rescue boats, 34 helicopters mobilized.
