Badrinath highway has been blocked after torrential rain triggered landslides in the area. Badrinath Highway closed in Shivanandi, Narkota and Sirobgad. <br /> <br />Meanwhile, ahead of Kisan Mahapanchayat scheduled to be held today in Haryana's Karnal district, the state government has issued prohibitory orders banning large gatherings in the district as a "gherao" has also been planned by farmers at the mini-secretariat over the August 28 lathi-charge. The Haryana government has further suspended internet services in Karnal and its four neighbouring districts including kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind and Panipat.
