Suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze told the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs 2 crore to convince NCP chief Sharad Pawar over his reinstatement. <br /> <br />Sachin Vaze said that Sharad Pawar had objected to his reinstatement in the Mumbai Police force and that Anil Deshmukh had promised to persuade Pawar. <br /> <br />Anil Deshmukh allegedly asked Sachin Vaze to pay Rs 2 crore to convince Sharad Pawar. When Vaze said he was unable to pay the amount, Deshmukh had asked him to give it in due course of time, Vaze claimed.
