Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said there are currently no plans to build permanent Covid-19-only hospitals.<br /><br />He was responding to Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid (Harapan-Kapar) who asked if the government has any intention of building such hospitals.<br /><br />Khairy also revealed that Putrajaya has spent RM593 million since 2020 on additional medical equipment such as Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds and ventilators.<br /><br />They have also received RM148 million in contributions, he added.
