Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has resigned from his post as the Umno advisory council chairperson on Monday out of protest against "kerajaan gagal" (failed government).<br /><br />In his resignation letter addressed to Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the Gua Musang MP mentioned the disappointment among the public and party grassroots on the composition of the new government.
