Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the United States on September 23. The Prime Minister will address the 76th United Nations General Assembly on September 25, a day after attending the first in-person Quad Leaders’ Summit in Washington DC.<br /><br />PM Modi will hold bilateral meeting with President of the United States Joe Biden.<br /><br />“In the bilateral meeting, the two leaders will have the opportunity to talk about the threat of counter-terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and work together to fight a common enemy of terrorism,” said a senior Biden administration official to ANI.<br /><br />Australian Prime Minister Scot Morrison and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga will also discuss issues of mutual interests with Prime Minister Modi.<br /><br />During the US visit, PM Modi will have separate meetings with the Heads of Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Atomics, and Blackstone on September 23.<br /><br />The Prime Minister will also meet US Vice President Kamala Harris. This is PM Modi’s second overseas visit after Bangladesh since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
