A number of laws will be amended to ensure their relevancy and effectiveness in improving public safety and security, according to the 12th Malaysian Plan (12MP).<br /><br />The laws include the Prevention of Crime Act (Poca) 1959, Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) 2012, Prevention of Terrorism Act (Pota) 2015 as well as the Penal Code 1957.<br /><br />The Sedition Act 1948 and the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 will also be reviewed.
