The Couva South visited Ganeesingh Street in Balmain, Couva on Monday, two days after residents blocked the road in protest after they suffered from flooding after heavy rainfall there on Saturday, on Friday and one week earlier. <br /> <br />He says that desilting of drains in the area is to be done as soon as possible by the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation. <br /> <br />One Ganeesingh Street resident she and her neighbours cannot endure any more losses due to floods. <br /> <br />Juhel Browne reports.
