Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday denied reports of internal rift in state Congress. On the recent Delhi visit of Chhattisgarh MLAs, CM Baghel said, “The MLAs are going on their own wish, they are independent, but there is no political movement.” CM Baghel also said that “Chhattisgarh can never become Punjab,” referring to recent political turmoil in the North Indian state.
