'This gruesome snooker fail proves that the unconventional path is not always right. <br /><br />Footage filmed by Jaden Opheikens shows his brother, Jarek breaking with a broken cue stick and immediately finding out how bad of an idea it was. <br /><br />"After finding myself getting bested by my brother at pool, I got a little upset and broke a pool stick over my knee," the subject told us. "I was dared to break with that broken stick in the next game. So, I broke with it and got a huge splinter in my thumb."<br /><br />He added: "I then hurried into the bathroom, ran cold water over it, and pulled the splinter right out in one piece.
