Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim said he has sent a letter to Dewan Rakyat Speaker Azhar Azizan Harun to ask him to determine the truth over contradictory statements from two ministers over the cabotage policy.<br /><br />He also called for the minister who had lied to be referred to the parliamentary rights and privileges committee.<br /><br />Sim pointed out how the Transport Ministry's answer to Parliament on the Apricot subsea cable project contradicted the answer provided by the Communications and Multimedia Ministry. <br /><br />He said it was impossible that both of them are right and one must have lied and twisted the facts.
