With the other major ethnic groups in T&T having special days to commemorate their presence, the First Peoples say it is only right that they too be granted a national holiday. <br /><br /> <br /><br />They say being the first to have inhabited this space, it is a shame that they continue to go unrecognized, and so they're now demanding the respect and honour they deserve. Chief Ricardo Bharath-Hernandez issued the call at the First Peoples 21st anniversary ceremony on Tuesday.
