Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob told Dewan Negara that the issue of eradicating poverty is close to his heart because he grew up in a rubber tapper family.<br /><br />He said this when tabled the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) in the Upper House.<br /><br />The 12MP was tabled at the Dewan Rakyat on Sept 27 and passed last Thursday after being debated by 106 lawmakers.
