Days after a spate of civilian killings in Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has stepped up its effort to install high-resolution cameras with automated facial recognition technology (FRT) across Srinagar. <br /> <br />According to sources in the security grid, there are 300 cameras installed across Srinagar already. However, the police now plan to bring up their need for facial recognition technology.
