Sepang MP Mohamed Hanipa Maidin accused Najib of hurting the country's economy due to his involvement in the 1MDB scandal and therefore does not qualify for special treatment.<br /><br />Last week, Najib convinced the Court of Appeal to temporarily return his passport to allow him to visit his daughter Nooryana Najwa who is due to deliver her second child.<br /><br />Initially, Najib sought temporary release of his passport from Oct 20 to Nov 22.<br /><br />After the Malacca state elections was set for Nov 20, Najib amended his notice of motion to extend the return date to Dec 12.
