I bet Brahms never imagined that someone will play this lullaby on a matchbox. <br /><br />If you like the video please share it. <br />Thank you. <br /><br />How to build a musical matchbox <br />What You'll Need: <br />Matchbox <br />Pencil <br />Ruler <br />X-Acto knife <br />2 match size wood sticks, about 2" long <br />Elastic thread -- I used Gutermann Elastic 10m, or you can pull it out from an old sock. <br />Scissors <br /><br />How to build it: <br />1. Draw 8 straight pencil lines across the matchbox about 3/16 inch apart. <br />2. With the X-Acto knife make straight cuts on each side of the lines, about 3/16" deep. <br />3. Glue the two wood sticks on top of the matchbox. <br />4. Cut 8 elastic threads about 3" each and attach them to the matchbox by inserting each end to the cuts in the matchbox. <br />5. Adjust the pitch (sound) of each thread by tightening or loosening it. <br /><br />Strum the strings with a toothpick or a match and have fun!<br />
