Under the “Jahan Vote, Wahan Vaccination” campaign launched by the #Delhi government in June, 13,000 booth level officers have been tasked with encouraging people to attend #Covid vaccination drives. Covering 280 wards, they visit residents at their homes to inform them about the nearest #vaccination camps in their locality.<br /><br />Pooja David, 50, is a booth level officer overseeing Ward 8 in Mehrauli. She told Newslaundry’s Anna Priyadarshini that 90 percent of residents above the age of 45 have taken the first dose of the vaccine. Over the past month, she’s visited all the residents twice.
