Pfizer strikes licensing deal for potential COVID treatment

Unitaid, founder of the Medicines Patent Pool, announces a deal with Pfizer to make the US firm's oral antiviral COVID-19 medication available more cheaply in poorer countries, if the potential treatment passes trials and regulatory approval.
