Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday announced that the government would be withdrawing the farm laws which the farmers had been protesting against for more than a year now. The decision was welcomed by the Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President, Naveen Patnaik. <br />
