Many social media users in Kent would have been unable to access some of the most popular apps for several hours.<br /><br />Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp were unavailable, which is said to have been caused by an internal technical issue.<br /><br />It meant billions of people were unable to use the apps and more than four billion pounds is believed to have been lost after shares dropped.
