Peel Ports and DFDS have announced a new daily service which is due to run alongside Dover and could reduce the amount being shipped from elsewhere in the UK.<br /><br />It's estimated to create up to 100 jobs in Sheerness but it comes with concerns that lorries could start snarling up local roads.
