Derelict, deserted and in desperate need of development.<br /><br />That's the message from businesses in Chatham who say revitalising Mountbatten House, which has been abandoned for 15 years, will be a lifeline for the area.<br /><br />Medway Council are said to be in advanced talks to transform the 12-storey building into a residential, office and rooftop dining space.
