With just 24 hours until most shops shut their doors for a second national lockdown, independent retailers in Kent say they might end up being closed for good.<br /><br />Thousands of shoppers have been queueing in the county's high streets to squeeze in their Christmas shopping over fears the restrictions will be extended past the second of December.<br /><br />But one jeweller in Canterbury says although they're seeing a last minute rush, she's concerned the festive period will be disastrous.
