Pioneering Chatham train guard remembered with plaque

A trailblazer who fought tirelessly for racial equality has been commemorated thanks to a plaque unveiled in Chatham today. <br /><br />Asquith Xavier lived in the Medway town in the 60s and became the UK's first black train guard.
