Kent County Council has committed to plans to become carbon neutral by 2030 - 20 years earlier than the government's target.<br /><br />The authority say by investing in renewable energy at their County Hall headquarters and shifting to electric vehicles, they will be able to accelerate to net zero.<br /><br />But the leader of the opposition is sceptical they'll meet their green goal.
