Residents in East Malling are fighting to protect what they say is a vital part of their town's history.<br /><br />Forty Acres Field has links dating back to the 11th Century, but plans have been submitted by developers to build 250 homes on it.<br /><br />Campaigners are now trying to crowdfund to form a legal challenge and protect the space for good.
