Maidstone Borough council press on with 5000-home plans in Lenham despite fierce opposition

Campaigners have slammed Maidstone Borough Council for continuing to press on with controversial plans for 5000 new homes.<br />A virtual committee meeting was held last night to discuss the proposals to transform Lenham into a garden village.
