The government has unveiled new measures to make Kent's smart motorway safer. <br />The proposals announced today come after growing fears over how dangerous they can be. <br />Figures show that there have been more than 30 deaths on motorways where the hard shoulder is used as an additional lane.<br />Our political editor Paul Francis joined us to discuss the topic.
