Shoppers in Kent could receive a £500 voucher under new proposals put forward to the government to try and revive the high street.<br /><br />The idea would give every adult a coupon to spend in areas hit hardest by the pandemic such as shops and restaurants.<br /><br />It's hoped that encouraging more people to spend will help the economy recover and save thousands of jobs.
