Testing for coronavirus urgently needs to be ramped up in Kent and the rest of the UK according to many experts who say the government's pledge to screen 100,000 people a day by the end of the month is looking increasingly unlikely. <br /><br />The most tests carried out in one day so far is 18,000 and the country's strategy has been criticised for being too slow.
