The new Kent and Medway Medical School in Canterbury are hoping to help tackle the shortage of nurses and doctors in the county. <br /><br />In their first round of recruitment they have received more than a thousand applications from students for the 100 places available in the first year. <br /><br />Dr Philip Chan, from the Kent and Medway Medical School joined us in the studio.
