A campaign has been launched to save a much loved green space in West Malling from being turned into homes.<br /><br />The field- next to a 900-year-old Abbey - is currently owned by Bellway and plans to build dozens of houses will go before the planning Inspector next month.<br /><br />However, local councillors and residents are looking to drum up enough money to pay legal fees and fight back against the proposals.
