Children as young as five are being suspended from schools in the Canterbury district. <br /><br />An exclusive investigation by the Kentish Gazette's revealed almost a thousand exclusions were given out at secondary and primary schools last year in Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and Faversham.<br /><br />The most common reasons for these suspensions were persistent disruptive behaviour and verbal abuse directed towards adults.
